The agony of defeat!!! This is me after blowing up on the first lap of two for my class. I technically rode more miles than a guy who wrecked and had a mechanical failure but a DNF is nothing to be proud of. There's always next month! I'm almost positive that those other guys were doping. :)  

Jenny & Foster were great as moral support and didn't laugh too much when I came back licking my wounds. 

I entered the Race to the River mountain bike series this past weekend (5/22/05) here in Columbia. I entered sport class in what proved to be an especially lackluster return to my racing days. Here I am getting ready for the race.
