Daddy Rules

Yesterday, Jenny left us to go to Ohio. She says its a certification exam but I know its just her way to prove that she's both the looks AND the brains of this operation. So, what happens when mommy is away?? Daddy rules!

Kate & I started right away yesterday evening. Crazy time!!!



After a little dinner and 'play toys' we hosted a toy parade on the side of the bathtub. Boots and doggie were stars of the show.



After bathtime we read a few classics (Ballerina Kitty, Llama Llama Red Pajama) and it was off to bed. Lucky for me I was treated to a 'Daaaaa, ... Daaa..., DaaDaaaaa, Daddy!' serenade about 3:45am last night. Kate is a clever little girl. That bought her nap time for the rest of the night on Jenny's side of the bed.

First things first on Saturday morning: Breakfast at Brugger's.



Saturday is turning out to be a beautiful day.



Followed by a little time at the coffee shop...



Then outside to smell the flowers!



Having so much fun takes its toll on you, though. Sleepy...



Next up? Toys, of course!
