She did GREAT, although she did set the bar very low during our last visit. We prepared for this trip by buying a doctor's kit. We practiced taking her (and various dolls' and animals') blood pressure and listening to her heartbeat. We used the thermometer and looked in her ears and in her mouth. One thing I've learned about Kate is that if you tell her ahead of time what is going on, she's much more likely to go along with you. We took her doctor's kit along. She sat quietly for the doctor to listen to her heart (this may have been the first time he's ever actually been able to hear it). She let him look in her ears. She stuck her tongue out for him, but he did have to pry her mouth open to look in. And she gave him a shot. Yes, she screamed when she got her 3 vaccines, but was over it as soon as she saw the band aids. No more shots until she's 4 - hooray! Ok, I lied. Flu vaccine in September.
